Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve put together a handy Frequently Asked Questions page with answers to some of the most common questions we get.

How do I book?

Fill out our contact form or drop us an email with your request, and we’ll get back to you with availability, and you can tell us all about your feline!

What do you do on your visits?

We plan our visits around your cat’s normal routines, so everything feels familiar and stress-free for them.

At every visit, we will feed your cat according to your instructions, refresh their water bowl, scoop and clean their litter trays, and change the litter as needed.

We keep a close eye on their wellbeing, spend time playing, cuddling and giving them attention so they don’t feel lonely.

Not every cat is sociable however, so if your cat seems super stressed by our presence, we’ll quietly finish up the essentials and let them be.

Extended and Premium Visits are available for those felines who like a little extra attention.

How long is each visit?

Standard Visits
• 30 minutes – for up to 4 cats
• 45 minutes – for up to 6 cats
Extended Visits
• 60 minutes
Premium Visits
• 120 minutes

Standard visits are designed for up to 6 cats. Households with over 6 cats, require and extended visit to allow sufficient time to complete feeding, cleaning, and individual attention, giving each cat the attention they deserve.

How long can I book sitting for?

This is entirely client preference. There’s no hard limit on how long you can book us for, take that sabbatical if you want! We can do a visit as a one-off, regular check ins as an ongoing contract, or even schedule once a week if you just need a little support in your life.

If you are lucky enough to be going away for over a week, our recommendation is two visits daily – once in the morning and once later in the afternoon. Cats can feel lonely too (even if they pretend they don’t!), especially when they’re stuck inside.

How do I prepare my home for a visit?

One thing about us is that we don’t judge!
No need to hire a cleaner or go overboard prepping for our visit – we’re here for your cat, not a home inspection!

That said, we do ask a few things to help keep your kitty safe and happy while you’re away:
• Please make sure your home is cat-safe: check things like wires, open windows, blind cords, and any sneaky spots they might get into.
• Please leave enough supplies to last the whole time you’re away: Food, litter, poop bags, bin bags, cleaning supplies for little accidents, and a sponge for washing bowls.
• Please clean food and water bowls and scoop the litter trays before you head off.

Are you insured?

Yes, we hold pet sitters insurance – proof available on request!

Do you have a DBS certificate?

Of course – we both do. Again, proof available on request!

What do I do about my key?

We offer a free meet & greet ahead of every booking, a perfect chance to show us the ropes and hand over your key. We’ll keep it safe until the end of your final visit.
We usually return your key through your letterbox after the last visit – only if you’re sure your cat doesn’t try to claim it as a new toy! We recommend this option only if you have a friend or family member with a spare key… you know, just in case of those unexpected emergencies!

Do you provide photos & updates?

You decide!
We understand that your home is your sanctuary, and we deeply respect your privacy. If you’d like, we’re happy to provide updates during our visit so you feel informed and reassured.
However, we will never take photos or share anything about your space without your clear permission.
Your trust means everything to us, and we will never post to social media or use any content from our visit without your full consent.
